Fabienne Alsing B.A.,Ac.M.,M.B.Ac.C.,Cert.E.C.B.S
Acupuncture Master and Practitioner of the Bowen Technique.
Fabienne
Alsing has been practising Traditional Acupuncture since 1988, when she
first qualified from the College of Traditional Acupuncture UK in
Leamington Spa, after three years of initial studies. Following a further
four years of advanced studies at the same college with professor J.R.
Worsley, Fabienne received her Acupuncture Master qualification in 1994.
Upon qualifying as an acupuncturist, Fabienne first
practised in Leamington Spa for two years before arriving to work
alongside Dr Mark Payne at the village surgery in Cheswick Green in
November 1990, and set up what is now the Complementary Medicine Centre.
As well as co-managing and practising from the
Complementary Medicine Centre, Fabienne also co-managed and practised at
the Well Being Centre in Nuneaton, North Warwickshire, from 1991-95 and
she practised alongside the Medical Doctors at the Henley in-Arden Medical
Centre, 1993-95. In February 2003 she also qualified as a practitioner of
the Bowen Technique from the European College of Bowen Studies.
Over the years, Fabienne has gained vast experience within
her field, through successfully treating hundreds of patients with a wide
range of complaints. She is highly acknowledged by members of the medical
profession and receives many referrals from Doctors and Consultants in the
area.

Fabienne uses a gentle, yet highly effective style of
Traditional Acupuncture, (also referred to as Five-Element Acupuncture),
or alternatively the Bowen Technique, both combined with a holistic
approach to health and well-being. In her practice, she sees her role as a
‘living library’ - a teacher of health and holistic living. Her aims are
to balance the energy system within each one of her patients to trigger
their individual healing mechanism, and also to provide them with the
knowledge which will help them find their own way to health and inner
strength.
Fabienne, herself, is fully committed to a holistic, as well as a natural
approach to living and in her own life with her partner and her teenage
son, she practises every word of what she preaches. In her own personal
search for health and inner harmony, she has gained extensive knowledge
and experience within other healing techniques, which complements the
acupuncture treatment, as well as topics such as diet and nutrition,
holistic exercise, meditation and various ways of internal cleansing of
body, mind, emotions and spirit. Through her continuous work on herself as
a person as well as a practitioner and teacher, she continues to widen her
knowledge and understanding of holistic living as a way to health and
well-being.
To supplement her ‘tool-kit’ as a Holistic Acupuncture and
Bowen Practitioner: Fabienne studied five element Plant Spirit Medicine to
an advanced level with Eliot Cowan -1992-95. She travelled and learned
with healers of the Huichol Indian tribe in Mexico during 1995-97.
She completed a one year course in Person Centred Art
Therapy in London with Liesl Silverstone in 1998 and since 1999 she has
been studying Personal and Practitioner Development as well as Advanced
Healing Skills with Mike Robinson.
Prior to her studies as an acupuncturist, Fabienne's background was as a
classical trombonist. She has a BA in music teaching and performing from
the Conservatory of Music in Oslo, 1980-84, (where she grew up) and a post
graduate diploma from the
Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London 1984-86. During these years
she conducted a children's brass band and taught children to play brass
instruments.
